Sol Survivor will be sharing Jazz Funk, Soul, and Funk music from the 70s from his collection - as well as discussing how the music that came out of that decade reflected the experiences of Black folks in the U.S. during the post-civil rights era. In addition, he’ll discuss how the music had a direct influence on Hip Hop music.
